big cities, Leeds is one of the most inviting. Famed for
its nightlife and shopping, the city - dubbed the 'Knightsbridge
of the North' - has entirely reinvented itself from its
manufacturing past. Once a huge textile manufacturing
centre, now, as elsewhere in northern England, the industry
that once drove the city is virtually dead.
